About the Journal
Conexões - Ciência e Tecnologia is a scientific and technological journal linked to the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE), created in 2007 to promote the production, systematization, and dissemination of knowledge initially generated at the institution, through the publication of theoretical or applied articles related to scientific and technological research in nine areas of study. Its mission is to enhance debates and contribute to the construction of scientific knowledge and the democratization of science.
Currently, with continuous flow, the journal has received the A2 category, in the evaluation of the Qualis Periódicos platform of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes). The target audience includes students, teachers, and researchers from nine areas (Engineering; Exact and Earth Sciences; Human Sciences; Applied Social Sciences; Agricultural Sciences; Biological Sciences; Linguistics, Languages and Arts; Health Science; and Multidisciplinary) and it aims to promote consolidated works with unpublished and original contributions, not published elsewhere and resulting from dense master's, doctoral and similar researches into national and international scientific production.
